·Out of curiousity, would anyone know what Omega actually does to service a quartz watch? For $500 (USD), do they disassemble, clean, reassemble, and lubricate the movement as they would for a mechanical? That seems excessive considering that, for example, it's possible to purchase the ETA base movement for a Calibre 1538 for $130 at retail. Even assuming a higher cost for Omega's aesthetic improvments, it would seem to be more cost effective to simply replace the movement.
