Omega Quartz Service?

Out of curiousity, would anyone know what Omega actually does to service a quartz watch? For $500 (USD), do they disassemble, clean, reassemble, and lubricate the movement as they would for a mechanical? That seems excessive considering that, for example, it's possible to purchase the ETA base movement for a Calibre 1538 for $130 at retail. Even assuming a higher cost for Omega's aesthetic improvments, it would seem to be more cost effective to simply replace the movement.

For modern quartz, they swap the movement. For vintage, they would service it.
