I like both brands and have Omega and Rolex, but I will say that if I could only have one watch it would be my DJ41, it simply wins in a straight comparison with any of it's direct competitors.
From a pure watchmaking perspective, I wholeheartedly disagree with your assessment.
Third - a modern Rolex says something about the wearer that I do not want to be associated with.
Omega is leagues above Tudor. They’re not even comparable.
It isn’t only the DJ that beats any aquaterra, Connie, or globemaster. My thesis is that aside for some small pockets of vintage models, Rolex wins across the board in every single category. Strictly speaking of design and aesthetics, there isn’t a single modern Omega I would take over a Rolex.
So what do you think of the numerous members here on the forum that bemoan the fact that they want, but can't get a new Rolex because of the long waiting lists and exorbitant grey market prices?
You seem quite happy to be associated with them.

Guys... don’t you realize that Rolex is even better than Rolex?

Thats total BS. Those 2 are crap. Rolex beats them both. Hands down.

You realize this is just subjective opinion, right? If you or others want to provide some objective criteria to compare watches, then this thread might make some sense, but otherwise it's just trolling...
