I just got off the phone with my local OB and he mentioned they'll be getting the official staff presentation about the releases tomorrow, and he's noted my question to ask the powers that be if the bezel insert will age or not.
Interesting, hopefully its a nice fade and not scratches
Very interested in getting the 300 but having the bracelet brushed. It’s a bit shiny for me. Curious if if all brushed would look dumb against the polished lugs or brush the whole thing except the ones that are flush with the lugs
Hoping for the same.
From the materials description: "In particular, OMEGA’s special anodisation process has achieved aluminium bezel rings that are nearly double as hard as regular versions, therefore making them more resistant to outer damage."
I think the materials they're working with here and in the Bond NTTD shows that Omega seems willing to take risks I don't expect Rolex would ever even consider. If this bezel can take some abuse and remain in decent condition, but also fade over time, I think Omega's playing the long game by creating a technologically advanced movement inside watches that will ultimately look great while still showing their age in coming decades.
I absolutely adore the new Seamaster 300 in bronze/gold. However, I agree that price is a bit steep.
Could this watch be considered a long-term investment piece? Will it be difficult to a hold of at retail price?
This new Tresor manual wind with power reserve is a very pretty watch, reminds me a lot of the Cal 320 OT2872 of the 50s, very clean and simple yet elegant.

The Calibre 8935 Balance bridge being rose gold in a yellow gold case is a bit weird as Karina mentions, but overall thats a really nice piece. Maybe an applied Omega logo would have kicked it up a bit further too but the minimalism on the dial is nice.
