apparently it was in press packet/presentation sent out to Ads, it'll probably be announced in a couple of months.
Someone needs to leak the pictures onto omega forums

People have gotten in trouble for that in the past so I would recommend anyone in the position to do so consider that before posting. I just don’t want anyone getting into trouble at work.

Omega-Seamaster-300-234.30.41.21.03.001.007.jpg

- I don't like the lollipop.
- There's way too much creamy colours (hands, indices, bezel) ; the older version was better balanced.
- Not a fan of the new font for the Arabic numbers.
- But the sandwich dial is nice.

I never understood the appeal of "ultra stealth" dials such a this one. It's completely illegible.

Very interested in getting the 300 but having the bracelet brushed. It’s a bit shiny for me. Curious if if all brushed would look dumb against the polished lugs or brush the whole thing except the ones that are flush with the lugs

I just got off the phone with my local OB and he mentioned they'll be getting the official staff presentation about the releases tomorrow, and he's noted my question to ask the powers that be if the bezel insert will age or not.

From my local OB: “[...] I have learned that the aluminum on the bezel is designed with the intention of a patina over time.”

Well, this has me quite psyched.

Hoping for the same.

From the materials description: "In particular, OMEGA’s special anodisation process has achieved aluminium bezel rings that are nearly double as hard as regular versions, therefore making them more resistant to outer damage."

I think the materials they're working with here and in the Bond NTTD shows that Omega seems willing to take risks I don't expect Rolex would ever even consider. If this bezel can take some abuse and remain in decent condition, but also fade over time, I think Omega's playing the long game by creating a technologically advanced movement inside watches that will ultimately look great while still showing their age in coming decades.

FWIW, the Spectre edition of the 1st gen came with a fully brushed bracelet. I opted to have mine fully brushed with no regrets.

Wonder if they've looked sideways at the watchmakers who have been using hardening techniques for a while -- Sinn, Damasko, Archimede -- and looked to add some value there without some of the drawbacks of ceramics in terms of dimensions, look and feel.

Would have been nice to see a similar bezel on, say, the Trilogy SM300, where the bezel insert was too thin for ceramic to be practical.

Is the crystal more domed on update version?

Yes, but if I recall from reviews, the total case height is apparently a bit slimmer.

I absolutely adore the new Seamaster 300 in bronze/gold. However, I agree that price is a bit steep.

Could this watch be considered a long-term investment piece? Will it be difficult to a hold of at retail price?

Long-term yes, but you'd have to keep in unused in the safe for ~20 years. Short term certainly not, you'll be able to buy it 10% to 15% off list price in a year or so, used it will trade even lower.

It's a beautiful watch, if you like it, buy it and wear it, don't speculate on it.

I'm just waiting till my ad gets the blue seamaster 300, fingers crossed the changes have made the watch less bulkly on my wrist.

Liking the look in these videos for sure!! The quality is obvious they are just a little nip (thickness) and tuck (L2L) from being on my wrist. Beautiful watch regardless.

Their new alloy is the clear winner over Tudor’s 18k 58 imo

This new Tresor manual wind with power reserve is a very pretty watch, reminds me a lot of the Cal 320 OT2872 of the 50s, very clean and simple yet elegant.

The Calibre 8935 Balance bridge being rose gold in a yellow gold case is a bit weird as Karina mentions, but overall thats a really nice piece. Maybe an applied Omega logo would have kicked it up a bit further too but the minimalism on the dial is nice.

I agree, I really like these Tresor models. Very elegant styling with some pretty super colour ways
