Next on the list is a Cartier Santos XL WSSA0018. If I can convince my wife, I would extend to the two-tone options, W2SA0009. They both look incredible and they are a long term goal.

So far in my thoughts for 2021, which will be a carefully considered year and probably only one of the below but the contenders are;
1. Sub (potentially, still very much a ponder)
2. GMT (undecided on make/model yet)
3. Connie (maybe a Jumbo)
4. AT Spectre or Skyfall

The Hamilton 952 is the 19-jewel version of the 950 is also nice..................IF you can find one.

That would be perfectly acceptable. I find these 19 jewel numbers quite underrated.

my series 5 Howard and my Bunn are both beautiful watches and just as good as their 21 jewel brethren.

and as 19 jewel watches a little cheaper to add to the collection as well!

I never stick to these lists but it doesn't stop me making them!

Rolex 16710 (or possibly a 14060m).
Grey dialed Datejust (either 1603 or 16030)
70's Speedmaster with B+P
Railtrack dial Constellation
Possibly another 'technic' dial Seamaster.
Vintage Seamaster 300 165.024

Hopefully I'll be able to pick up one or two of the above...

I guess I've always got half an eye out for a Camaro as well.

And while we're talking Heuers a 3647 Carrera is hard to turn down if a suitable one presents itself.

I hesitate even admitting things I want, for fear that saying it out loud will somehow cosmically harm my chances, but I've wanted one of these for *years*. There just aren't that many, that I can find, and the ones that do become available are usually asking about twice the actual market value and never sell. Anyway, I feel like it's the *dream* watch. I've had the Omega 146.017, which was a joy, but on the small side. I've had all sorts of luck, so wouldn't consider myself unfulfilled if I don't land one of these eventually, but still.

I'm planning to buy more vintage watches, than new ones this year.
Takes time, and it's hard to find great examples.
Some say the hunt is half the joy, but I hate patience 馃榾

A reasonable priced speedy, that's to late prolly?

Currently looking for:
Constellation C with brick bracelet
Omega geneve diver
Seamaster chronograph

Do I miss anything? 馃榾

The watches that excite me most aren鈥檛 always the most expensive. But what they do all share is beauty and for me I often see beauty most in dials from the mid 30s to late 40s. I love Art Deco dials, and something like this would be very nice to add to the collection:

I鈥檓 also on the hunt for an Omega 2471 circa 1947 with a bad redial going for a reasonable price as a I have a nice dial to replace it with. So an omega cosmic moonphase. Here鈥檚 the dial:

Anything else, hmm, probably just more 30T2 and a replacement Omega / Longines 6B/159 as I so regret selling my beautiful one!

To be honest we all know watches we like, but it鈥檚 often the watches we don鈥檛 know we like that are the most exciting. Finding and buying a watch you had never seen before or never considered before seeing it. Now that鈥檚 what I like. 鈽猴笍
