Dear fellow members. I have spent some time now researching regarding this little beauty. It seems to be ref 2108. The watch looks all genuine and it seems to be the original lume on the hands and numerals. Even the crystal looks original! Case is 30-31 mm. Lug width is 16 mm. The dial is in a stunning condition, slightly yellow. Case back with three notches and it´s a robust little timepiece.

I post some pictures and will return with additional ones shortly.
Movement is the 23.4, no shock protection and with a cut bi-metallic balance. (Will post pic on that.)
Manufatured in the late 30´s. The ref 2111 should have a center second and my watch with sub second should be the 2108. Some questions pops up:
Is it a so called Naiad?
Is the hands the proper ones for this watch? All hands are blued.

I hope you will enjoy the pictures. More information and your knowledge are much appreciated.

This model has appeared in the forum before. I believe the 2108 is a Naiad and waterproof but the 2111 is the medicus version with the central second movement for taking pulses. So both are naiad models.

- Yes I have seen the other threads, but I have never owned one before and are not so familiar with these watches. Is it correct that these watches were the first waterproof models that OMEGA produced?

No that would be the Marine. The watch was contained in a two piece steel case with cork seals. It was sold as a dive watch.
Search google for omega marine and you will find plenty.

Nice watch! These are mid to late 1930`s I believe? All I managed to
find is the caseback tool📖

Correct, I meant more common watches that are not specified for diving issues. Thank´s for pointing that.

Very nice CK2108, in the Naiad line (here in a 1940 French catalog) :

the hands look correct to me.
Exceptional patina on the dial!
