    You may all know this, but Birks is the Canadian equivalent of Tiffanys in terms of high end jewelery stores. They sold several brands with their imprint; I have seen older Breitling, Rolex and Eterna models. It continues to carry Rolex, but less of the major brands, more of the fashion watches and relabeled Birks watches. I believe they just lost being an Omega AD.
    Beauty of a watch! Strap fits it well IMHO. Congrats!
