Are these commonly faked? It amazes me some of the pictures some sellers take of their watches.

I decided to just unfollow this sale and forget about this watch. The seller doesn’t respond , even when I write home in Italian language. No use ...

I always had the same question.! Why you think they do that? I always try to take the best pictures when I want to sell ... it’s really strange

No.I said t's hard to tell by the pics and that I wouldn't buy from this seller. This said, If you want me to vote, it looks more likely to be genuine than a fake.

the price is too good to be true

Really?

Before the Hodinkee Nonsense Hype, this was the price of a MK40 in this condition all day long.

Perhaps the bubble has burst? Or the seller sees this for what it is, rather than what the internet believes it to be? 😉

I think other than a few people sucked into the Hodinkee vortex that missed out, and wanted "Ben's Grandads Watch", these are still not fast moving. 😉

I love the the mk40 and yes, this used to be the going rate and I should have grabbed one when they were cheap- Dinky screws us all again! I would happily wear one of these despite @ConElPueblo waiting for me behind the school yard to kick me to the ground, call me a priss and take my lunch money.

BTW, this watch is great for when you're trapped underground for months.

You know...no idea of day or night, or what day or month it is.😗

The cheapest price I have found during the past two months that I am chasing this model is 2100 euros in worst state than the one in this eBay selling

For sale at that price, or Sold at that price?

I’ve seen a lot of optimistic asks, sat for a very long time. 😉

Not really. Dealers have to eat.
