I’m not sure I follow Hans. Are you referring to the dial orientation? If so, this is the ‘Drivers’ version, with the dial orientation rotated through 90 degs to improve legibility whilst your hand is on a steering wheel.

Yes, totally legit, I've had a couple.

Usually worn on the underside of the wrist so you can glance at it while your hands are on the steering wheel.

Correct. Meant be worn on the inside of the wrist so the driver didn't have to take their hands off the wheel to see the time.

So I guess this is Omega's version of the Vacheron American? Pretty cool, never seen it before. I love how there's always new omega models to discover in their history.

Completely legit. I almost got one on eBay a couple weeks ago, but no luck 🙁 I think the design and the dial are pretty cool

Guys, I was not sure if this was an error from a "lazy" watchmaker or a legit watch?
So I tried to stretch my boundaries with the "gurus" here!

Thanks a lot, I am not so into Geneve...😗

Cheers, and have a nice weekend!

Oh waow. I had seen a couple of these while browsing but was wondering how and why they would pivot the dial… that’s quite a niche use, but sort of clever. Old times!
