I heard OB do fly their customers to Omega Factory and Omega pays for everything.

Has anyone been invited, and what does it take for Omega to sponsor such a trip?

I would love to hear from fellow members here, or its just a myths.

April Fools day was last month.

I heard they fly clients via first class/ business class, 5-star hotel lodging, and all meals are provided for....anyone can verify?

How was the experience? Can you share more? How do ordinary folks qualify?

Hope they fly clients to the space or moon, that would be a complete compliments to the moonwatch story.

Yea it's true. I've been on one. A great experience although a little short.

Pretty sure this true, so I find the April fools day comment a bit amusing. You probably get treated pretty well in you drop coin on a Chronochime or Deville Tourbillon. Hodinkee had articles last summer about the Paris Olympics, they sent VIP clients there too

I'm sure there is a purchase value threshold that could make anything happen. For the Factory Tour, for someone living in say North America, that would probably be a pretty high threshold.

A few years back we had several of our children reach major life milestones at about the same time, and we ended up buying a number of watches from our local OB. No trip to Switzerland, but we did get free, all-access passes to the 2016 Ryder Cup. We had to pay our way to get there, as well as pay for accommodations...but the Ryder Cup experience itself was extraordinary.

Our local boutique has done this several times with the higher end brands they represent like Patek. Patek basically tells them how many they will pay for and the local boutique gets to decide who to invite, its basically a combination of there top dog purchasers and a few new buyers who they believe will be long term loyal customers.

I have never heard of Omega doing it, but our local boutique always says if you ever decide to visit the Omega factory/museum they will support and inform Omega and pay for the entry fee, but not the air tickets/hotel/transportation etc.

I think they are the last European car company left that has a factory delivery program. Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi all discontinued theirs some time ago for US customers. Saab had the best one, but of course, there is no more Saab. Not sure that the Italians or British ever did them.

There is no charge for the Omega or Swatch museums. Maybe they'll arrange for a short factory tour at no charge, too. If you have a Swiss Travel Pass it includes free admission to tons of musems, incl La Chaux des Fonds and Patek Philippe.

After a couple of factory tours it gets boring. I've been to AP (twice), Lange, Glashutte Original, Renaud & Papi (Richard Mille and other high end brands). They are all fun but I've no desire to see anymore.

I stand corrected. Last time I looked was during the pandemic. It might have been temporarily suspended.

I have purchased 4 watches and 2 bracelets / straps from my local OB and I barely get offered water when I visit. I would love to know how much you need to spend to get an invite to the factory let alone it being paid for by Omega.
BTW, I am not complaining, I buy watches
