I still haven't been allowed in since they introduced the buzz-to-enter doors years ago.
I guess my shabby-chic 'style' is just seen as shabby.

Buzz to enter doors? The local AD does that, but not the OB I go to. In a mall that makes our local ones look like Walmart. And I dress like a homeless teenager.

In Switzerland you often wait behind the velvet rope and get buzzed in where you are greeted by a salesperson. This is especially true if they are busy.

I heard OB do fly their customers to Omega Factory and Omega pays for everything.

Has anyone been invited, and what does it take for Omega to sponsor such a trip?

I would love to hear from fellow members here, or its just a myths.
Yes they do.
It is not just a question buying watches. You can spend 100k with 1 watch and not being a good customer.
It is also about your relationship with your OB manager.
Obviously your relationship needs to be that person and NOT a sales person.
It is the OB manager that proposes, the head of retail will decide in the country surely.
Each OB manager goes at least once a year for european ones. Other continents I don’t know.

It is a wonderful experience, and you cannot buy it simply by spending your way into it is in my humble opinion.
You need a genuinely strong connection with brand/culture and long term relationship.

It is not because you are a VIP that you get invited to everything either. I’m sure they profile their VIP to do a fair allocation of these perks.

The Omega VIP experience varies region to region. I know of one customer that was flown to NZ from Australia for a yacht race (he'd bought a few platinum pieces...). I didn't get (or warrant) that, but I enjoyed my VIP experience immensely.

Glad to hear this is a real deal, seems like not much information about these online.
