·One of my friend bought the pilot ones. It's really not my style and would never wear that kind of sunglasses but I must admit the quality is very good. Made by luxotica I guess, Someoan can confirm?

From previous discussions on the forums I'm assuming that they were just given as gifts from boutiques? Does anyone know if I can order a pair online somewhere, or are they all sold out or gifted? Or do I have to go to an omega boutique and inquire about them in the flesh?

·They're selling them in the boutiques... made by Luxotica... so you could buy RayBan's instead... and have a wider range of colour/size/lens specification, for a lower price, in a cooler package. 😉

As you know, I'm more of an old school vintage guy. If I were to obliterate anything, carpet bombing with incendiary weapons from propeller driven bombers would be my preferred method.

Actually I have searched, and read that thread and it mentions nothing of the price nor does it answer my original question. It offers a bunch of nonsense and shirtless pictures, although I must admit Superdoc has a very impressive physique.
Second, as for the 200 post rule before we get to post in the buying and selling section I figured it would post asking for concrete information.
As I am in school every day, it was easier and common curtsy to ask on here versus sitting in the hall making calls to boutiques.

1 - Easier is not always best.
2 - Taking the easy option is not "common courtesy", it's just lazy.

·People start new threads about stuff that has been discussed in older threads all the time. To be honest your attitude is a little bizzare. Who cares if it's a new thread? Are you paying for the hard drives for the server? If we all did it your way there's only be one speedmaster thread and it'd be 50000 pages long.
I'm talking about the OPs attitude that calling an OB is essentially too much hassle.
If we all did things my way there wouldn't be 100 posts a month that contain one or all of the below:
1: what's this old thing that I could have googled myself?
2: how much is this old thing worth that I could have googled myself?
3: where do I get this thing on the Omega website that says "call boutique for pricing"?
4: how much will this new thing cost from a boutique?
Expecting people to do their own research, rather than asking others to do it for them, isn't bizarre.
And abusing a resource just because you're not paying for it makes you an arsehole.
