100% with you on that and I didn’t think it any different. 👍 My comment wasn’t about the subject, but rather the manner.
Cool ! 😀
Omega extracts are a super useful service. If they authenticated watches for which they have no extract info based on pictures it would be great, it would be more transparent if this was a separate service.
Anyway, I'm speaking a lot about extracts but I've yet to order one ::facepalm1::

it might be appropriate to include additional information (e.g Production date based on invoice... or based on production record) which they have at hand as they look up the data.

This is an excellent idea @SpeedyPhill. While uniformity is desirable, I'd suggest most people who are interested in getting an EoA would put that characteristic a distant second to precision.

I feel I must amend or retract my original rant to a substantial extent. I am now satisfied that in this particular instance there is an actual explanation for the discrepancy between the dates on the booklet and the extract. Don't ask me how I got it, but let me say that the explanation is quite complicated. My impression is that Omega do not wish to get involved (apart from having issued the extract of course) and I am certainly not authorized to speak for them.

So there. I don't know what more (or less) I can say without being inconsiderate.

Maybe this: I am now satisfied that the production dates mentioned in the extracts that have been issued to me are actual production dates 😉

No, no. Let me rephrase: ... in this paticular instance there is an explanation for why the dates on the booklet and the extract can be reconciled.
Also, the information I got (I am not saying it came from Omega), did not include any opinion about the warranty paperwork, one way or the other.

I'm treading on a minefield here...

Sorry, but whilst you're obviously satisfied with the new information you have the secrecy you're laying on is not adding anything to the wider audience.

If there is an explanation then I don't see why it cannot be told, otherwise better to say nothing at all...IMO

Extract is correct and done like all others... extract shows production after warranty and all legit?

Or philips is playing games with extracts.

Ok...

I have a SM 300 with papers and extract and the extract (production) date is 3 days later than the sales date so I'm inclined to follow the Phillips explanation. Having said that I'm also annoyed that the big auction houses always seem to have extracts for 33.3's and I got none because the data was not available (and instead of cancelling the transaction the reimbursed me but the exchange rate was changed so I got back less than I was charged for...)
