Yes, delivery to outside Europe usually takes a bit longer 馃榾
I've never had it take longer than 6 weeks.

Indeed - I called my local ob and they emailed me the form, which I emailed to Swatch.

I ordered an extract in October, which has not yet arrived - I checked in around the first of the year and they replied that my request had been lost or something. The plus side is they're waiving the fee, so I don't mind after all!

How did you manage to have them waive the fee?

Hi I ordered an extract of the archives yesterday at my local boutique (3592.50.00) and was told they can take 5-6 months to be delivered. What has been the experience by other members? Think read somewhere they usually take about 4-6 weeks
Mine took about 6 weeks ordered for delivery in Netherlands

Every extract is signed by the CEO and I think, he has more to do than just signing extracts. 馃榿 So it can take some more time if he is on a business trip or on vacation (yes, he is doing vacation as well 馃槈). I think that is the reason it it takes sometimes 4 weeks and sometimes up to 8 weeks. If the extracts are ordered by an AD in the US there are some steps in-between that may cause extra weeks. My experience is 4 to 6 weeks inside Europe.

Well today got a reply to my request inquiry on the status of the extract of the archives for my 3592.50 numbered edition (below); not available 馃檨. Another OF member had the same faith with his request for his numbered 3592.50, so we share the same faith ::facepalm1::

Heard this one before but can't the Archives keep signed blank Extract certificates on hand to cover that scenario? We're not talking about blank cheques and I doubt Mr Aeschlimann personally checks every Extract against its corresponding original record in the Archives before putting pen to paper.

Hope you are right, but they said months! 馃槻
5-6 months is conservatively correct, assuming they remember your request. 馃榾

got mine in about 8-9 weeks. it takes time but it will eventually arrive. if you order via their website, there is a part on their website where you can view the status.
Although I ordered one in August and received it in about October and it still lists it as processing...
Another placed a few weeks ago which they have emailed as canceled that they list as processing...

Would be good if they properly showed the status

Well mine arrived today, in a nice posh red envelope, after eight and a half weeks.馃憤

It confirmed that the, 24531xxx, 321, movement was indeed correct for my 105.012-65 Speedmaster and that the watch was delivered to Gibraltar in January 1967. (I've added it to the original post of the watch in the link below)

Good stuff. That鈥檚 one of my favourite threads around here.

I'll pile on here...Ordered two extracts on Nov. 19 and have not received them yet. As @Dan S mentioned once you receive your blank pdf template from Swatch, save it on your computer to use in the future--it's a time-saver. 馃憤

Received an email yesterday noting that my 2 ordered extracts were finished, and to allow 2-3 weeks to (physically) receive.
