Got notification on 14 Feb that it is finished.

In my hands now. Not a bad turnaround time.

Now if only I could figure out the journey my watch made from its delivery country (Switzerland) to where I bought it (Taiwan).

Just got mine. Ilovemyspeedmaster was off a little bit. They had mine predicted at October 1991 and it came back as July ‘91.

Still waiting on mine I submitted at a US boutique on September 3rd... it’s for an old manual wind piece I’m looking to sell and I’m a little tired of sitting on it waiting for the EOA to come. Got a call at the end of January from the boutique saying it’s still in the works though no news on it, but kind of wondering at what point I give up on it. Hesitant to call to see if I can cancel it if I’ve already waited this long on it, and I wouldn’t want to cause too much hassle for the boutique associate I work with since it’s certainly not his fault, but... 😵‍💫

I’ve ordered several and sometimes they come in very quickly (4 weeks) and sometimes I’ve received one as late as 8 weeks

I ordered two right at the end of Jan, orders were placed online. I received an email 8 or 9 days later that one of the requests was rejected, which happened to be for a WW2 Navigators watch which I had also included the case serial number for. I resubmitted that watch with just the movement number and after a month I've not had it rejected yet.

Last Friday I got an email saying that my EOA was ready, of course they don't give an order reference or the serial number and they don't update the online portal. So I'm waiting to see which one comes through the post later this week, I'm assuming the one for my 2486-2 in which case started Jan 30th finished 9th March.

After two months I got an answer that they can issue an extract for my watch but no explanation why they can't. Anyone know what can be the cause?

So can they or not?

Terms and conditions should give you some hints on why they refused to provide the extract, although it sucks they don't bother to state the actual reason.
I think most common is the movement vs dial/case mismatch (ie. movement left the factory in a different watch).
Also it seems they sometimes have problems with older references that have case serial number.

It's a Speedmaster professional. I have a 1450/808 bracelet on it. They asked for the picture of the side of the case and after I provided it. They responded that they can't give me any information and will give me a refund.

The serial number of the watch starts with 4824 and that would make it a 1990 or a 91 watch. But it has a 1450/808 bracelet that was on the Apollo XI 20th anniversary watches and on others. But from what I know those watches were issued in 1989. Dial, hands, pushers, and everything else is consistent
But they did ask for the picture of the case on the opposite side of the pushers.

I just don't know what to think of it.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I was at the boutique a few days ago, and they said they've changed the info that appears on the extract as well as who signs it. Anyone gotten one of these updated versions?

Mines exactly the same as usual. Same Petros Protopapas signature and same info dated 26-2-21.

Thanks. I didn't order mine because I wasn't sure. Will look into it again.

Nothing new I would say but I got my first one just last year.
This is the one from February:

Older extracts were signed by CEO, had much nicer package, there was no disclaimer taking 30% space and in general it looked better.

I can only suggest to mail or call them and ask for the reason, sorry.

Maybe someone here with EoA experience chimes in...

I got an answer from them today. They told me that the movement belongs to a Speedmaster professional moonwatch. But in the process, they asked for pictures of the side of the case that is opposite to the crown. Today the told me that the case and the movement are a mismatch.
And because the watch has the 1450/808 bracelet I figure that at some point the case was damaged and replaced.
