Hi People!
Doing some Sunday Cruising for watches, and found this one...

It is an Omega Seamaster De Ville, but what is the reference number?
It should be a watch from the 60:s?
Info and maybe links to websites/pages...??
The auction house are as usual very silent, and no info at al...
And only 2 crapy pictures...🙁

I have tried to search, and I found a couple of similar ones,
but these do not have the date, and they have 3 sub dials.
Referens on these are:
105.005 and 145.005, both with a 321 movement.

Picture nr one and two are on the watch I am looking at.

And pictures nr 3 and 4 are from Chrono...😲

Much appreciated with your help!!

Two completely different watches. The first two pics are the unusual 146.017 with cal 930.

@hansaboy Good looking choices. You are digging in the right place

Omega
- Date at 9 is ref 146.017
- 3 register ref 145.018
- There is also a 2 register version 145.017
Note there are other versions too 😉

Some Sunday reading:

Yep absolutely. The Seamaster de Ville is originally part of the Seamaster line.

The De Ville line is a different product.

I didn't say there are no Seamaster de Villes, I say these are no Seamaster de Villes. 😀

The Seamaster de Ville is a Seamaster created by Omega to balance the fact that the Seamaster line got really professional in 1957. It's called Seamaster de Ville but it's really a Seamaster. And a dressy one, for sure.

The De Ville line was introduced later and is a different product. These chronorgaphs here are examples from the De Ville line, and you can see a lot of Seamaster de Villes in my thread.

After some help and guidance from Forum members, I could find more info.
Thanks to:
@Davidt @tapaptpat and @PlainVanilla !!
So I was looking at this watch, and had to ”nag” the auction house to get som better pictures.
They only had two pictures (those that I showed in the beginning of the post), and with lousy resolution.
So it was very hard to assess the watch.

I received a few more after a while, but the quality was not the best.
But I could compare with other De Villes and the watch looked original.
Hands and lume were ok, and crown/pushers looked good as well.
Attaching these.

And on the day af the auction, I called them and tried to get some more pictures and info,
the ones I got showed more details, but I did not really like the spots and dirt on the dial.
And not sure if these could be cleaned away??

Attaching these also...in the next post

The case and case back was nice, so I had mixed emotions..

So I just followed the auction to see what would happen,
and it landed at 2500€ plus 28 % premium, so 3200 €/3500 $.

Maybe a correct value??

What do you Guys think??
