Lovely watch Hans !! and congratulations on this one.
It is an attractive dial to me and a good strong case.
Thanks Ron!
I looked at the lume so much that I almost got cross-eyed!

Congrats! What's up with the two 6's being shaped differently in the caseback?
I have never thought about the numbers before...?
And I looked at some other 66 HF´s...
Anybody knows why...??

A wristshot to show you the bezel in action!
The score is about 50-50 regarding keeping or changing...😁

The bezel shows age which to me is not a big problem, and it looks nice enough. But a better one would make the watch look even nicer i agree, as a match to the very nice dial. But at current prices of € 1500 - 2000 or so for a good bezel i would not bother and from great case/dial/bezel you have 2 out of 3 !

I think it's because the case backs are engraved up to 105 012-6 as part of the parts inventory, and the actual year is engraved at the end when the watch is assembled.

+1 for changing the bezel, I can live with fade and scratches but big chips would keep it off my wrist most days.

Bezels are always the bane of these things. They tend to take the full impact in daily wear and while mowing the lawn.

I opt for keep the bezel.

Been a while since I posted picture of my mutt. Which seems to be an 861 transitional from 1970 with the wrong back on it.

I keep thinking the chips at the 400 abd 275 are worse than they really are. This watch got a lot of wear in the 1990s. The crystal is also scratched between one o'clock and 7 o'clock. And the lume is falling out of the hands.

Still it is what it is.

Recently I bid on some similar parts. Hoping to perhaps get a breeding pair. Was not to be. These seem to be the hardest watches to breed. So I envy those who can breed them.

I also would like to share pictures of the buckle that came with the watch!
Thanks @mac_omega and @SOG53 !!
And still 50-50 from the Forum about the bezel...😀
