Omega Constellation - Holy Grail?

The dial is unmarked, it’s beautiful with silver/blue colour, original papers, buckle, unpolished. The strap is old but not sure if original as it is Omega, the owners family said it had never been changed. The envelope for the papers has the correct serial number for the watch on it that matches the papers. Incidentally it was sold in 1967 on Kensington High Street in London, the height of the swinging sixties.

It’s a beauty. Where can you get a vintage like that with box/papers in good condition?

That is lovely and great that you got the box and papers. Is the case Omega or a Dennison ?

It looks like the CB is silver and lighting makes it look gold, so my guess is Omega case and plated.

It has to be a solid gold case - there are hallmarks on the lugs 😉

What a watch 🥰

It is very hard. I was lucky with this one. I’ve got about ten vintage Omega with Box and papers plus one nos Geneve but this is something else.

It’s a Dennison. It has the ‘5’ in the serial number if I remember correctly.

My wife says it does not look good on me so to get rid of it. I think she is mad but she says it every time. I am not usually a gold watch type of person but it be would a struggle to let this beauty go!!!

A very lovely watch in fantastic condition. congratulations.
would be good to see some of the info on the papers.
Presumably 168.5004?
Sold in ‘67, so what the movt serial and movt cal are.
And if the missus keeps telling you to get rid of the watch - change the wife, keep the watch 😉

the grained detailing in the ‘night sky’ is a give away too.
Only gold Connies had this.
(although Desmond suggests this was lost on Swiss gold .004s and .005s)

The heavy enlarged stars are a give away that it is an English or French case.
