Omega Constellation Case Back

Hey Everyone! I have a question about this case back, I understood that the back , where the logo is , is solid gold , is that correct or not? Here is an attached picture which looks like a chip/scratch on the gold part, exposing a different colour below, making me question if it is genuine or not? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance 😀

To my knowledge, the Constellation medal on the case back is made from 14k solid gold. About the different color spot on your picture, I think someone tried to solder it? Not sure.

Could just be some edge patina or wrist cheese that hasn't been fully cleaned. Can't really tell with the low-res shot.
