This is another nice little watch I recently picked up, seems quite original to me but would like advice if anyone can see anything not right.

This watch came with extract of archives and is dated February 1953 (129##### serial), it has its 283 RS movement with movement cover and doohickey spring and is confirmed to be a British military watch.

The dial has some slight nibbling around the outside in places but looks to be in great condition for 66 years old as do the hands, its nice that it still has its fixed spring bars and overall the case looks sharp.

Hopefully it all looks correct and if so what would be the value? I ask as I dont see many with the doohickey spring which I heard is like hens teeth.

Hens Teeth......I should have 10 left somewhere for our Restorations.....inner covers as well..... They do not add a lot to the value. And a Dealer in Belgium had them remanufactured as well. Same Material. Look the same..... Kind regards. Achim

That looks like a very nice example. Price-wise, these are all over the map (like many things) but should be north of $3,000 (at dealers).
