Omega bracelet resizing nightmare

So my brand new Railmaster arrived and I have to say that Omega could try to make resizing the bracelet a bit more challenging. I mean it only took an hour and a half, not counting the half hour looking for one of the nano screws dropped on the carpet. A new experience!

However it is totally worth it. The silver brushed dial is just exquisite. My only niggle is the bracelet resizing with tiny screws held in by locktite. I am reluctant to use loctite again but maybe I should. Would welcome advice on that. Also a bit surprised with some finishing. Quite sharp edges to the case and bracelet and not nearly as smooth as my BB58. Build quality and brushing top notch though.
Cheers
Jeremy

I use Loctite 222MS on all bracelet screws among the multiple of brands and types I have in my collection and on the few stems I've cut and installed in crowns.

Low strength purple lock fastener works fine, and it's easy to undo the next time you need to remove the screws. Adjusting an Omega bracelet requires: a. clutter free surface, good light and a small container to hold the screws and pin, b. a block to hold the bracelet, c. a good screwdriver, d. some magnification to allow proper placement of the screw in the link before tightening, e. a calm demeanor, so no adjusting after a half bottle of wine, or yelling at the wife or kids or pets. Slow and steady wins the race with these bracelets. It would have been preferable if Omega had used the usual single threaded screw/rod like other makers, but they went with using three components vs one for some reason.

All done as recommended - would also advise wine or strong whisky afterwards coupled with deep breathing exercises to whale song sounds.
Many thanks

Still hunting for one of those tiny screws that popped out of my tweezers onto the carpet. Must be in there somewhere.

A good strong magnet does the job every time. Get one from an old loudspeaker.

Can I wear my Speedmaster while taking old loudspeakers apart to get the magnets?
