Hi, just a quick question. Does anyone know if omega boutiques in the UK handover hang tags with watches? The little white one with model and serial number and price? Thanks

It always depends....some places give them if asked, some keep them. No firm answer.

Thanks both. I did subsequently ask the boutique and they said it is not something they provide to clients, it is for internal use only. I did get it for my last purchase but hey things have perhaps changed.

My US OB manager makes sure it goes with the watch to the client every time.

I let it bother me for about 24 hours, but now I couldn’t care less. Got the watch of my dreams, plastic tag is in th trash and I’ve come to terms with that now.

It should come with it. I’ve been to tens of ADs and OBs and all have it attached.

Different countries OB’s have started to do this.

it’s to stop flippers. Also who cares if you have it.

Just to add as I wasn’t very clear…. When watch was first presented the tag was on it. When it was packaged up I just assumed it was still on it. Got home to realise it wasn’t so hence why I posted the thread. Spoke to the OB the next day and got it confirmed they don’t supply it. Now I know that I’m not bothered. Cheers

One with the hang tag and one without, doesn’t bother me either way.

Agree. Watch and Card is all you need.

This - never got a hang tag with any of mine and didn't occur to me to ask.

I don't worry about the hang tags. Box and papers if I want a full set.

For comparison:
Swiss OBs are very strict about removing all ancillary items such as hang tags, secondary packaging, etc.

while I have always had good experience (ie, they give you the entire set) with US ones.

Maybe, but a Speedmaster I bought from the Geneve boutique in June 2017 included the hang tag and the brown shipping box. Maybe the policy has changed.
