Omega 2179/6 Fab Suisse - Replaced dial?

Hello people,

I got a working Omega 2179/6 Cal. 30T2 SC Fab Suisse from my father. According to the serial number, the year of manufacture was 1944. For the fact that my father and grandfather have always worn it is still in good condition. I'm just wondering about the dial: Instead of the odd numbers, there are only something like rivets. I have not seen anything comparable anywhere. Was the dial possibly replaced? I am not an expert in the field of watches and have registered here only because of that. A similar watch has been posted here before:

The dial was not replaced, it was likely repainted long ago. Everything else that you show looks correct for a Ref. 2179.

Hope this helps,

Thank you very much. Does this mean that these rivets were installed before and only the dial was painted over afterwards?

The applied round metal indices? They were almost certainly original to the dial, and the refinishing was done around them.
