I can't get over how cool these watches are. Can't even pick a favorite. I'm usually a Seamaster kinda guy but this Speedy is just gorgeous. And how great would that Railmaster look on all kinds of straps!

Am I really going to part with some nice vintage pieces to buy a new watch? Never thought I would even consider it 😀

I'm just trying to do the math on whether not eating food for a few months could pay off the Railmaster, I'm fat as it is right now so I could stand to lose the weight and living on steamed turnips and cabbage in theory shouldn't kill me.
Probably not, but it might kill a few of your close friends 😲

Any word on the box for the individual watches? I am wondering if they will come in red vintage looking boxes too.

Red box seem to be confirmed on omega's website.

I just noticed the bezel on the SM300 is bi-directional. Its charm just got better!

This is what Hodinkee said concerning the 557 trilogy pieces:

All three models can also be purchased together as a set, limited to 557 additional pieces, as mentioned on their respective dials and casebacks, for a total 20,000 CHF.

My gut reaction is to NOT want the extra limited edition text on the dial. If the point of these is getting clones of the original with updated movements, do I really want the extra text cluttering the dial and reminding me I don't actually own the original? I like the idea of the trilogy set and sure it will be lower production and more exclusive, but I think I'd rather order the three separate. Thoughts?

I agree 100% on your thoughts. If I were going to buy I would want to buy the full set but then you get what IMO is a less attractive dial. They should have kept the exclusive marking to the caseback and had the watch face maintain the full vintage look.

You may need to eat that meme. He was asking about the boxes for the individual watches. That is the set of 3.
There's pictures of the full set earlier in this very post ::facepalm1::

The 60m is clearly just a typo. The name is actually "Aqua Terra 150m Railmaster" so the rating will likely be 150m like every other Aqua Terra watch.
I believe your refer to the "other" new Railmaster:

I am having this exact same issue now. I suggest anyone that's preordered this contact their OB to see what the scoop is.....I really hope this can be rectified or it's some kind of mistake because it's a deal breaker for me on the trilogy box....I'd rather buy them seperately, no way I'd want that extra trilogy # on the dial.

Is it me or is the Speedmaster 60th Anniversary seriously expensive? 6700CHF!! It's the most expensive of the 3...

Agree, why would they do this?

Have no clue.....that's why I'm somewhat skeptical.....I don't think it takes a genius to see that it's completely desecrating the watch......I'm hoping this is some kind of mistake. I already msged my OB rep to see what the scoop is (if she knows that is....it's her day off heh).

Nope. The LE is 150m but incorrectly says 60m in the spec. From Omega's own website:

That is some serious facepalm right there......I just can't believe it....how the hell did they let this happen. I'm praying this is something one can opt out of.

Think it will be scratch resistant like my liquidmetal SM300? Would hate to have it delicate like the 2254 for example.

This is the Ringo Starr against the LE's. Sorry but... how... and who? 🤦

Edit: Sorry, not done. When the counterfeits come, how will anyone be able to tell the difference? And, will it even matter?

I have a 2254 too and for that reason it has been hiding under my shirt sleeves. But I cannot imagine OMEGA will not use the modern bezel materials.
