Question for Those who already have the new watches. Do they casebacks line up straight?
No. Mine's slightly off. The new, non-LE Railmaster fixes this as it uses the new Niaid lock system.

Also, my friend just picked up his SM300 '57 from a boutique in the north of England a few hours ago. What a lovely thing!

Love it! I've been looking at pictures of some vintage 2913/14s and it really is astounding how spot on these are.

Could you also post the Railmaster pages please?
Unfortunately I did not take photos of the railmaster sheet; but it should be available at your local boutique

They should have only produced 1957 of each model. I say this as someone with a Speedy on the way.

I'm just thankful it wasn't 7,007!

Just a short reminder to anyone that hasn't owned a METAS Omega before, you can get the test results for your Master Chronometer Trilogy LEs by setting up a MyOMEGA account and then loading the watch reference number, serial number and METAS access code here:-

https://www.omegawatches.com/de/myomega/metas/form-ref/

The My Watches feature will then show that your watch has been recognised by the Omega system.

For whatever reason Omega does not allow you to load vintage Omegas into this feature, at least I have not yet managed to get my '69 Seamaster or '70 Connie in here. More recent Omegas can be added (my Speedy is from '05).

I can't wait until the JR04 is eligible for an Extract. Sure, it'll say it was produced in 2004 and delivered to Japan, but it'd be nice to have tangible documentation of it.

Casebacks:
2913-1 Seamaster 300, Engraved but no Seamonster

2914-1 Railmaster has a blank caseback

2915-3 Speedmaster. Similar to later Speedmasters. The 2915-1 and some 2915-2s, lack the Seamonster.

After 8 hours

After 16 hours

The steel-on-steel look is better than I expected. The bracelet is a reversed PCL, is there a short code for brushed centers, polished outer links? Whatever, it catches sunlight nicely and doesn't seem to show finger prints too much.

It is however showing some initial desk-diver swirls, as expected. This is actually a relief because I can just wear it and enjoy it now, without fretting about the first ding. No chance of this becoming a safe queen.
Congrats on your Railmaster! What does the case back look like? I wonder why Omega is more stingy with watch photos than the average eBay seller?! Hmmm...have to depend on proud new owners to show the rest of us what we await!
