Congrats on your Railmaster! What does the case back look like? I wonder why Omega is more stingy with watch photos than the average eBay seller?! Hmmm...have to depend on proud new owners to show the rest of us what we await!

Shooting through/past the bracelet and clasp is a bit of a pain so I will probably do a swap to the leather strap later today and try to get some decent photos for you.

Something I have noticed though; these mirror polished surfaces pick up scratches pretty easily so that will be true also for the case back, which is at high risk if the watch is on the steel bracelet. Mine still has a small circular plastic protection disk on it to avoid such scratches. If you leave it like this there is a tendency for the case to stick to your wrist. I tried it without the protection disk and the effect was the same, probably because the case back is so highly polished. Conclusion: leave the protective disk in place!

Some caseback teasers for you @mikechi22
Wow! That is so cool! I was thinking the RM was going to be non-engraved, which I sort of thought, sucked! Thank you for brushing away that sense of impending disappointment!

The edition number of 3557 pieces.
Interesting! So, they provide a series number in addition to the watch's serial number? That's a nice additional perk. Is it engraved somewhere on the watch or indicated on a certificate? How does one know?

The no6 end links are worth a post..very chunky as well
Indeed. And a tight fit between the lugs.

I suppose the next one will say "Speed"

All of the anniversary pieces were made to the EXACT specs of the original 1957 CK2913/14/15. There is no thicker/thinner with these pieces.

In any case, it is 12.7mm tall from caseback to top of the domed sapphire, so it's approximately the same.

I can confirm the 12.7mm from caseback to top of the crystal for the Railmaster. There is a difference though between the Railmaster and Seamaster crystals. The Railmaster has a curved edge and flat topped central zone, the Seamaster has one continuous curve from side to side.

Railmaster lug to lug height is 47.8mm

Aha! It makes all the difference (a) wearing glasses and (b) switching to the laptop! Very cool that each piece is issued a number. Not sure I love how prominently it is carved on there, but better than the dial, by a league! Thanks for answering all these questions! But you're the belle of this ball!!

I don't know where these numbers were sent to. There are definitely VIP customers that can choose their numbers....
