I'm just trying to do the math on whether not eating food for a few months could pay off the Railmaster, I'm fat as it is right now so I could stand to lose the weight and living on steamed turnips and cabbage in theory shouldn't kill me.

I'm eyeing my S2000 as a potential living space.

^Pan handling in disguise might be another option...

Didn't think I'd be saying this, but i think the #ST is my favorite release this year. Beats the basel pieces in terms of my want and desire.

Withdraw $20k at your local bank and run to the Omega Boutique while waving the bills in the air

In seriousness for a moment I've had a few people PMing asking if there is an online pre-order like the Speedy Tuesday for these and there is not. These watches are not an online sale and are going through the normal distribution channels so you haven't missed out on anything yet, just talk to your local boutique if you're after a pre-order as it can't be done online.

So I have to buy through a boutique? I'm not being snarky, I've only ever bought used.

I'm guessing it'll be boutique first and then ADs as well if there is stock available but I can't say for sure. Boutiques would definitely be your best bet for preorders.

I haven't bought a new Omega in years. Do the boutiques give you extra years of warranty? Do ADs still discount new Omegas. I"m out of touch with new watch purchases.

My one ding on the RM LE is that the WR is 60m. I'm an active swimmer, so I do prefer 100m WR (ideally with a screw down crown) on watches just for peace of mind.

For a limited edition that is focusing on faithfulness to the original I can forgive this omission, but just saying it would have been a nice to have 😀

Yes AD will move on price. Not as much as they used to. And not on new watches or LE's.

Just put down a $5,000 deposit on the trilogy at the local boutique. Is it normal to have to put a deposit down?

Having spent too much time on the rowing machine I lost almost 20 kilos in less than a year ( it also means a little smaller wrist) and I also have a ST reserved. Cabbage would not work for me but may have to figure out something. The more I look at the SM and the Speedy, the more I like them. 🤔

The 60m is clearly just a typo. The name is actually "Aqua Terra 150m Railmaster" so the rating will likely be 150m like every other Aqua Terra watch.

Only the 557 in the set of 3 have the dial script AFAIK

Debating if these will be hard to get later on like the Silver Snoopy or the Spectre SM300 (even though that had over 7000 pieces, good lord) or be a flop like the blue CK2998.

What do you guys think? The collector part of me wants to preorder today, the cheap part of me doesn't.
