I have to admit the speedy 60th has real investment potential, 3557 watches is low for a company of Omegas size. I really like the Seamaster 300 too!
Not particularly low for an LE Speedmaster, pretty high in fact. Not suggesting that the new watch won't be hot property but 3557 isn't hugely limited.

They should've made the trilogy set have white luminova instead of tan/aged to set it apart from the regular LE. If they had done that, I would be missing a kidney and on the list for sure.

In the meantime, anyone want to set up camp at the local boutique and wait until the shipment comes in?

Does anyone know if the bracelets are tapered like the originals were? 😀

I am in mid-west US and put 50% down on a Seamaster 300 back in April - still no firm commitment on delivery. Hoping it will be not too far into July.

I originally wanted the Railmaster but when I found out the SM 300 had the same anti-magnetic movement I changed my mind.

I posted in the 60th Anniversary Speedmaster thread but I'll post here as well. I was told by my AD in Texas that they expect to get the Speedy in by mid-July if that's helpful at all to anyone. I'm not sure when the SM300 and the Railmaster are expected in as I only have the Speedy on order but I'm assuming it will be the same time frame.

I've been out of town on business for the last two months. I stopped by my local AD yesterday afternoon to verify any updates. He also mentioned mid-July. But, he also stated the Omega boutiques would probably get them first. So, I'm preparing myself for late August or early September. Hopefully, I will be pleasantly surprised! ;D

July is starting to seem optimistic, but it starts next week, so I am going to take that optimism and run with it!😎

Optimism and Omega delivery times?

You must be new to the brand! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

That was a nice read and lovely makro shots. I always felt if the opportunity arose I would be happy to swap my ST for the Seamaster 300, but actually the Railmaster had indeed grown on me.

I'm actually considering becoming a one watch man (something I've been thinking about for a long time), I think that Railmaster could comfortably fit that role, likely I'll never see one though so no need to give it much thought.

I've been feeling the same way. Although I have the Speedmaster on reserve, if my AD were to tell me they didn't get allocated enough for me but they have another Railmaster available if I wanted it I would jump at the chance without a second thought.

Here here for one watch! After some Rolex watches and whatnot, that's what I did. My AT (usually on perlon) works for everything, and that Railmaster would accomplish something similar.

Hey, thanks. That thing goes from swimming to hiking to rock climbing to golf to tennis to yard work to dinner. 😀 I'd imagine the new Railmaster could do the same, although the non-screw down crown is a bit of a bummer. Either way, gorgeous watch.
