Mmm...if these are 'grey' already then something is seriously wrong somewhere...in which case I think I need another beautiful Speedy...

...meaning : next chance I get I will go chat to the friendly folk at Omega Flagship and test the waters. I am pretty certain they will know. And if there is any interesting info to share, you betcha I will ...

Well whoever these ADs are that are giving these away at wholesale prices are fools. These are limited and can easily net them at the very least another $1000 each.

Honestly I wonder if it's just a case of Authentic watches being overly optimistic... apparently Omega hasn't even decided how they are allocating their stock yet and somehow they are able to get their hands on cheap product to sell at below MSRP?

For the record : No disrespect meant to Mr Aeschlimann...I think it's a fitting title. You are certainly correct. It would be surprising if there were any left to allocate now, and even more surprising if the same were said by the time they hit the stores. In anycase, it's always nice going to visit the store.

The only ones that should be on the gray market should be #666 and #444 (the Chinese's 666) because they'll be difficult to sell.

I wonder how many people are buying on that site at that price... I suppose they have to honor the sales but I can't imagine they are going to make any money off of it.

Well just sell the 666 to the Chinese, and sell the 444 outside of Asia.

That's just the kind of outside the box thinking that Omega needs. You're hired!

I don't claim to know how the grey market works, but this AuthenticWatches concept makes absolutely no sense for these watches : what does make sense is that, until the time of physical availability, Omega would keep all stock allocations available for customers purchase directly through them (not only for return sake). That's a long time still for them to 'sell' these special watches. If in Y months time there are still X number of unmoved items, only then could I imagine things going grey. Or if they were churning out millions.

But as mentioned, I don't claim to know anything. Just rattling some logic 😀

After your post I saw it too (thanks). But I still can't imagine Omega declining sales to people who walk through their door due to something like this. At the end of the day all that matters is having 'the precious' on the wrist 😀 And guaranteed at that. If this is guaranteed, then 👍

They do this all the time, advertise them before they can actually get them with long lead times. Once they have your money, they have your money... watch or not.

I'd wait until they land at official outlets and then see how it goes from there.
