That just gave me an erection. I reserved my Speedmaster 60th today at my AD in New York, only required a 30% deposit, fully refundable.
For anyone who is interested, the following are prices for the 60th Anniversary Speedmaster in some countries that I have gleaned from various conversations, posts, blogs and articles, standardised into US$ at today's exchange rate (xe.com). UK and Australian prices include taxes, but not sure about the others. Would be interesting to hear from those that have paid or reserved to see if these are correct.
The US price is correct. And there will be state tax on top of it for most buyers, which will typically be ~6%
Hello all, Been reading this forum for a while and decided to sign up! I reserved speedy in Paris and the OB told me they got 10 units with 6700eur price. If you don't live in France you can get 12% of this price in tax back, meaning that your final price will be 5896eur Looking forward to this speedy to go along with my silver snoopy!
Hi All from South Africa My AD returned from Baselworld on Tuesday. He managed to secure 2 Speedmasters (one for me) and 1 Trilogy set. Price in South Africa for Speedmaster is ZAR91 000 which includes 14% VAT. At today's mid-market exchange rates it equals: US$7100, £5700, €6600. No deposit required.
Ok I want one where did you guys get the best deal in the US or did you have to fish overseas Authenticwatches had the speedy for sale at 5475 but the price has gone up since then
"Usually ships within 6 months" Lol. I'd rather pay retail than risk getting scammed or having to wait months only to be told they aren't getting stock
What they said was you pay then they order though an AD then you get it. Bought from them before w no issue whatsoever
Certainly can't disagree but w no tax and 5400 bucks it seems like a good deal. Sure u loose the warranty but it is not that hard to find someone to work on a 1861 if need be
I don't understand. The listing says that a five year warranty is included and there is an option for a lifetime warranty.
You lose the Omega warranty. That 5 year warranty is in-house at AuthenticWatches, which is to say: useless.
Mmm...if these are 'grey' already then something is seriously wrong somewhere...in which case I think I need another beautiful Speedy...
Well whoever these ADs are that are giving these away at wholesale prices are fools. These are limited and can easily net them at the very least another $1000 each.
