I picked up a Speedmaster LE in Japan at the Mitsukoshi department store (ironic perhaps) but the red card wallet had no Warranty or Pictogram cards and the salespeople were confused when I told them about this.

Ultimately they said I would receive these in the mail.

Are they correct or are the cards lost? What can I do to get the cards?

I’m just curious, because they all come on a bracelet, when you swap for a strap the first time are there scratches on the case from the original bracelets?
Yes, mine had...

Is that from the strap change or do they all end up with scratches? 🙁

First thing is to post a new thread since posting the here means it is likely to get lost in conversations about this topic.

If you wear the watch...

... you're going to get scratches...

I’m not asking about wearing it or not

It was from the ear of the bracelet end link. I think it is inevitable unless they were first fitted and sold with straps from factory.

Ok I see, I always thought there would be some marks (especially on the case)

I've swapped out the braclet on my Seamaster a couple times without leaving major scratches like that - it can be done if you've got even a little bit of experience, and a lot of patience

But are there scratches on the case from the bracelet just being there? That’s what I’m asking

Yes. I have seen this happen on many watches.

Ive found a way to avoid the scratches.
Don't change the bracelet.
Does it really matter if you get scratches on the underside of the watch lugs, personally I don't find it an issue.Nobody sees them and as you age your eyesight cannot pick them up without a 10X.

Well it looks like the Railmasters around here aren't finding much love........

I have no idea what accounts for the slight price differences but they're obviously counting up scratches or very slight nuances in condition.

Maybe also taking account the warranty dates. Older stamped cards should be cheaper than newer ones since they have less warranty.

Hi everyone. I have the Railmaster and fancy trying it on a cordura strap. I was wondering if anybody has tried the 19mm omega cordura strap on any of tthe 60th anniversary models and if so what the fit is like?

The reference for the strap I am looking at is 98000315. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Keen to see this combination as well.

Are replacement bracelets for these available to be purchased by owners of the watches?

I really hope they develop a 1/2 link for this bracelet.
