My Railmaster was lonely so, I added the Seamaster 300. I think the Railmaster looks best on a strap and the Seamaster on the bracelet. Although, the Seamaster doesn't look that bad on a strap either... Here are weight measurements of the heads: The bracelet endpieces are the only differences between the bracelets and here's a shot of the marks on them: Can someone post a photo of the Speedmaster endpieces. Does the whole word "Speed" fit on there??
Hi everyone. I have the Railmaster and fancy trying it on a cordura strap. I was wondering if anybody has tried the 19mm omega cordura strap on any of tthe 60th anniversary models and if so what the fit is like? The reference for the strap I am looking at is 98000315. Thanks in advance for any advice!
Wasn’t just luck. Ordered three simultaniously on the openning day of Basel 2017. And got the last one just a couple of days ago. Finally my wait is over!
Are the full sets sold out? I found one at an AD, in front of the shop with all the other watches. Didn't expect to see this.
That would be interesting. Not so many sets released - 558 if Iam not wrong. I did not like inscription on the dial of set pieces and went for getting my own set instead.
Inscription should have been subtle and imho on the back rather than on dial face. I would have gone even further and would have just made a subtle change of face between set and single pieces. So subtle that you would need to care and read if you would like to be able to notice it.
I think Railmaster is the real treat!! And Omega may not reissue it again in near future.... may be on its centenary!! Therefore it’s my favourite amongst them.
Is it still too early to say if the Trilogy or separately each of the 60th anniversary issue (Speedy, SM 300, RM) is a hit or a miss? Or was it a supply issue which is being cleared now but some are still in the window display.
They just made too many of them - the Speedmaster they probably could have sold 10,000 of but there just weren't as many people crazy about old Seamaster 300s or Railmasters
European Watch Company has a few Speedmasters for sale below MSRP. I'm not affiliated with them in any way and I would recommend inspecting photos for condition and not going solely on the description.
Spot on! I have the same opinion. On the other hand, I wouldn’t have gotten all three separately if these were hot items and I love every single piece of them. It’s indeed a faithful rendition. Hopefully history will be kind to Omega for doing this homage of the first professional line.
I’m just curious, because they all come on a bracelet, when you swap for a strap the first time are there scratches on the case from the original bracelets?
