the CK2913 looks so much better with that lollipop hand!!
...but I REALLY miss the brand arrow hour hand...one of the major detractors for me when I owned a AT Railmaster...

Lovely and nice gesture. Already completed my Trilogy separately. But the boxes if they would be available would add a nice touch. Wondering if Omega would release just a separate box for separate Trilogy owners.

Omega will never do that. It 'devalues' the real trilogy set imho.

Hi friends,

I am a huge fan and Omega makes outstanding timepieces - I especially love the Sea-Master range. It's perfect for an adventurer and traveler. I recently purchased the limited edition, 60th anniversary Sea-Master, which I am proud of. It's an outstanding watch; a truly mesmerizing 39 mm, beautifully-sized watch; a vintage watch for the vintage lover and it suits those with a rigorous lifestyle.

However, I'm not sure if I've gotten the lemon of the bunch. My particular watch has three small issues that should be solved to match the quality one expects from Omega.

1. When I line up my minute hand to the 12 o-clock position, my hour hand does not perfectly center over the minute hand.

2. When I unscrew my crown to set the time, the action is not immediately responsive; there is some hesitation before the gear engages and then the minute hand moves.

3. My watch is currently at +4 seconds per day, which is a really high chronometer standard; I would like it fine-tuned to less than two seconds' deviation per day.

Maybe I'm a bit obsessives but only after solving these three issues, then i would truly have the best watch any watch geek/nerd could ever have.

Wondering anybody has similar issues?

Mine has a little bit play to the bezel. I can slightly rock it back and forth. Does yours do that?
I’d take it back to the store in your case.

I remember seeing in one of these threads there are case back stickers available to help protect the seahorse from bracelet scratches, can someone please tell me again which are the best for the trilogy and the correct sizes for each model? Also has anyone ordered replacement bracelets and if so how much are they? Thanks

Hi rohnin
I have about 117 stickers left, you just have to trim them for the circumference. I did my Trilogy and works well.
The bracelet in the US was approximately $700.
Pm me your address and I’ll send you a bunch of stickers

Thanks for the offer! I’m not good at trimming, though 🙁 Do they leave residue?

I don’t remove the case back sticker and put a transparent tape on the paper serial number sticker on the case back.

I pulled the trigger on a Seamaster LE that was already on the used market. Updates and photos to follow.

I bought one a few weeks ago and have barely taken it off since, it is really really nice, much more so than I expected.

From yesterdays Phillips auction
It would have been so cool if the new limited edition seamaster would have been made with the lillipop seconds hand!

I don’t know what’s more important; wearing a good watch as it is meant to be worn and enjoy the feel of the watch or trying to keep it in pristine condition and sacrifice the real feel of it on your wrist?

I prefer the first way to enjoy my watch and let the watch take the normal brunt in its stride. I think we own them for our pleasure not they own us to keep them guarded against any blemish while in use!

Another point I feel important is that the very idea of a plastic shield next to your skin, between the watch and the wrist is not at all pleasant, if not totally disgusting, to me.
After spending a small fortune I want to feel and enjoy my watch without any artificial barriers of plastic or otherwise that are meant to protect the watch against my enjoyment. Just my 2 cents...
