·True - actually, I believe the rail and seamasters are the best value of the trio with the modern movement etc. The pricing of the speedy I think represents the popularity of that watch as opposed to any technical benefit. Of course, it is lovely however.
I do think that if they had priced up the railmaster at maybe £4,500 though it would have sold out. As things stand it’s more expensive than the Rolex explorer which I guess is it’s natural competitor, for all that I prefer the railmaster.
That said I have no quibbles with what I paid. The domed sapphire is worth the price of admission for me. And true, the 0% finance is a good incentive and equally why omega may feel able to increase their prices a little.
0% finance? I assume you are in the UK. Did Omega offer 0% in the UK?
