Well noticed.👍 That is what I like here, at OF : attention to details.
Indeed, I don’t like the massive bracelet of these reeditions. IMHO, they were their only weak point. So I put an original tropic on the Seamaster, a vintage Omega bracelet on the Speedmaster 😉, and a “new” 1125/617 on the Railmaster.

I feel the same way, the bracelet is nice for what it is on the surface but it just doesn't complement the watch as nice as it should.

Do the 617 endlinks sit flush against the case of the seamaster? I may need to be making a call to my ob this afternoon. This is a great innovation, cheers Xtof.

Definitely go for it instead of the FOIS

I wouldn’t buy the FOIS from the boutique since they are available regularly for £2,500-£2,800. Was more trying to justify the price difference. Forking out twice the price basically!

Hi all, first post!

Have been following this thread since ordering a SM300 60th at the beginning of April of last year. Pictures and stories have been very entertaining, albeit accompanied by a twinge of jealousy and a steadily worsening feeling of despair as time marched on and still no word from my AD. Even started looking at Chrono24 and other sites...

...and then Thursday I received an email from my AD that my SM300 is on it’s way, should have it by next week! 😀

BTW, can any one tell me the buckle width for the leather strap included in the box? I’m assuming the NATO buckle is 19mm 😉

Thanks!

OEM leather strap buckle is 16mm wide (internal width), the NATO strap has a 19mm wide buckle.

Whoops! Looks like I couldn’t help myself!

Picked up what might be the last available in the UK from an OB.

I have both of these, but I agree with the above. Get the 60th now and you should still be able to score a FOIS easily enough in the future. Both are fantastic pieces and I have to say that the FOIS at the prices they can be had at are quite underrated.

I wandered into an Omega boutique near work to have another look at the FOIS, but swiflty discovered that they have one 60th LE Speedmaster in stock because the individual who ordered it never showed! Is it a sign...?

I’ve put it on reserve for 7 days, and now need to make a decision!

Purchasing at retail seems a pretty good deal right now, but I don’t know how long they will hold that price.

What are people’s thoughts?

Don’t hesitate, you’ll regret it.

Interested to hear how many
I just ordered these straps from Bas&Lokes for my RMLE and SM300LE. I’m very curious how they would look like with the watches but I have a good feeling. 😗

What colour please? The combination looks brilliant

The OB in Guangzhou at Tai Koo Hui has all three of the trilogy pieces. Probably due to the weakening dollar, the Speedmaster is going for $8,292 (52,500 rmb), a thousand more than I was quoted back home in July.

thank you😀
I’ve just picked up my first Omega. It is beautiful and classy! In comparison with my Rolex i think is the same level...don’t hesitate - just buy one from The trilogy!
Congrats. Both very special timepieces.

Great collection. Where did you get the tropic from please?

It has taken 3 days though I have finally read this entire thread. Great information so thank you to all who have contributed.

I have a Trilogy set still inbound. Not concerned about delay but appreciate the irony that Baselworld 2018 starts next week!

Anyone else still waiting on their Trilogy set?

If anyone is interested in th Seamaster Trilogy Edition, there is two left at the London OB in Old Bond Street.

And it's cheap compared to Euro prices due to the exchange rate. I paid like 700 EUR more with the OB EUR price 😡

Interesting to see that they're still available with all the sold out advices from the OBs earlier.
