I just pulled out on my Trilogy. Full deposit and crappy dial writing put me off. I'm out.

Damn. Ballin out of control over here.

It is a shame about the extra writing on the set. The whole reason people like these is because of how faithful they are to the original. Seems like a big miscue to add more to the dial. I get wanting to make the full set a little more special, but that doesn't seem to be the way to go about it. Regardless, super excited to get my speedy. This is going to be a painful couple months of waiting. And a painful credit card statement at the end of the month.

And it better have hesalite like it says on the website and confirmed by the rep.

Wouldn't Omega have dials in stock for these? Wonder if they would swap if you wanted it so.

I asked the rep over the phone when I ordered mine and she also said hesalite.

Do we know the case thicknesses yet on these? Kinda lost in the flurry.

I suspect they have the parts, and I could get a watchmaker to swap it out. But what a silly move to put that extra text in there. Kinda like putting a giant wing on a 88 Civic to give it more juice.

Just for to share my experience about the difference between Limited Edition Omega watches that are shown at Basel and the ones that are effectively distributed.

Here is the Tresor enamel that was presented at Basel in 2014:

Here is the real watch

Fortunately, the dial was void of any LE number.

I hope it will be the case for the Trilogy set.

That reminds me--love that Tresor dial (as delivered). Would not have been interested in the Basel version. Unfortunately, wasn't into watches until well after that LE Tresor was sold out.

That said, my guess is that the Trilogy number text will not be optional, and will be on the watches when released.

Actually, it's more like a giant VTEC decal

Oddly they are not on Omega’s website, but Watchadvisor has them: Seamaster 300 14.1mm, Railmaster 12.7mm, Speedmaster 13.7mm. My 2914 is about the same, I don’t know about the other two but seems in line.

They said the actual price is $21,600.
Only 1600 tax? If I am not mistaken, quoted figures are without tax (as that varies from country to country)...

Yeah, just got a follow up email from my local OB with whom I made my 20% deposit this morning. It's confirmed, Omega Corporate now requires 100% deposit...definitely hoses down my fire, deflated my balloon👎...man, that no-date Sub is calling my name again...I gotta sleep on this....🤮

CHF to USD hasn't been 1.08 for a loooooong time

Can't argue that, but that's what I was quoted.

Yeah, I might just drive to the Rolex AD and buy that BLNR I have been eying for months.

I presume the new Railmaster lacks the thick 1mm dial and magnetic shield of the 2914? As it now has an automatic movement 🤮, the replica watch is too thick to house the original anti-mag components.

I got an email from my boutique rep earlier this evening. I had not been online for about 1-1/2 hours. Her email indicated 100% deposit required, which I assumed was the boutiques' own requirement, since posts earlier in the day indicated ~25%. So of course I jumped back on OF, and immediately saw this appears to be the newest requirement. At noon today i would have thought about it, but now seeing the "trilogy' text on the dial I am learning more towards going for one of the LEs for now, and possibly picking up the other two later IF prices dip a little. Talk about a roller coaster!

The 100% requirement is a reach considering how their promised delivery times have really slipped at times. Free use of my money for 2 months is tolerable, but 6-10 months would not be.
