I just talked to my OB in MI and they told me the same thing. $21,600 deposit required to guarantee a set. Have to think about that as I already put $5000 down. Apparently that changed since I called them this morning. With the new news of the Trilogy wording on the face, I may just back out and order them separately.

Get the Speedy first and then the SM. Railmaster last, simply due to demand.

I'm also getting mixed info on the crystal for the Speedmaster. Website says hesalite, but the OB sent me a brochure that says sapphire. In addition. Trilogy is noted on the dial for the trilogy set. I'm gonna back out of the set, and only order one.

Hmm now which one to order.

Just an update: NYC Omega boutique is able to take reservations as of now. Just got off the phone with them. Reserved a speedy.
You can actually make a deposit?

Me too. Just adding a trilogy to it. Best of both worlds.

I was going to spend £20k on the trilogy, but I left my spare £20k in my other jacket... 😜

Was about to give my down payment for a Trilogy, but like others have mentioned. The text on the dial ruins it for me. I opted for deposits on two individuals instead. Its too bad Omega did not just do the limitation marks all on the back of the case.

Expecting a full deposit? 😲

Must be nice to get that 6 month no interest loan from their loyal customers so easily. 😝

No my AD. Would have just been a portion thankfully, but just could not do it with those dials.

Yep. Full deposit.

They took the card info over the phone and are processing it tomorrow, as the SKU isn't in their system just yet.

Just got an email from the OB saying I must pay the full price of the watch to reserve. They sent me a PDF with all the new watches premiering and some I haven't even seen covered on any site or forum thread. Don't know how to attach A PDF but here are ghetto screenshots from my phone...

Just for to share my experience about the difference between Limited Edition Omega watches that are shown at Basel and the ones that are effectively distributed.

Here is the Tresor enamel that was presented at Basel in 2014:

Here is the real watch

Fortunately, the dial was void of any LE number.

I hope it will be the case for the Trilogy set.

And now it says it has sapphire but everywhere else, it says hesalite. What's going on at the headquarters? Even their own website said it was WR to 60m this morning, but this PDF says 50m

So when would we find out if this is the case? Or do you just place a $20k+ order and take a chance? Thanks for sharing and am genuinely curious......

Alright, 100% deposit required at my local OB. Just put in for a Seamaster and a couple of Speedmasters. Really bummed about the extra trilogy text on the set, or would have gone for that. Delivery expected in June. Now the wait begins. I am really bad at waiting.

Damn. Ballin out of control over here.

It is a shame about the extra writing on the set. The whole reason people like these is because of how faithful they are to the original. Seems like a big miscue to add more to the dial. I get wanting to make the full set a little more special, but that doesn't seem to be the way to go about it. Regardless, super excited to get my speedy. This is going to be a painful couple months of waiting. And a painful credit card statement at the end of the month.
