I still don’t believe this...information is so spotty.
According to my OB, all allocations for the US have been spoken for. May be available elsewhere. But from what we've been hearing in the last few weeks, the US was the go to place to still pick one up.

Yes, that's true! It seemed like there was still availability in the USA when everyone else was reporting Mother Hubbard's cupboard. But look at Mtnmansa above - he just got one from an AD. I'm guessing that there are a number of these that are parceled out to AD's and they are considered "sold" by Omega but are actually still on the market.

I'm still waiting for a 57 Speedmaster to arrive in Winchester and like to think they are getting closer!!!

You're not going to be happy @SouthernScot, because mine arrived yesterday, and guess from where?

Mikechi, from what I garnered from the AD, is that they purchase the watch outright at Omega cost and then sell to frequent flyers or some lucky soul who may stumble in.
Anyone who wants can message me and I can pass on my contact, and she may be able to secure one.
They are a reasonably sized AD and Omega just relaunched in their stores , so she told me they were quick to help here.

Surprise of my life.
Railmaster fell from the sky at OB, when I went in to buy a couple link for my Apollo XI about a month ago.
Watch technician says hey got in the first Railmaster today and guy who reserved it - left the country!!
Boom - Done!
Then a week later (3 weeks ago) went to my AD and asked could they get me a Trilogy Speedy?? 99.9% was the answer! Got the call today. And voila
Part 2 of three. Not sure about the Seamaster 300, haven’t seen it but worry about the bezel.
Enjoy the pics before the wrapping comes off.
speedmaster is my pick. love that dial.

Congrats!
And as far as the SM bezel, I handled the new SM at my OB a couple weeks ago and the bezel is easy to turn (equally in both directions) and very comfortable in the hands. Not loose or flimsy, not an issue at all.

My bezel isn't right. You can rock it back and forth with obvious play and when turning the bezel its very rough. My seiko skx runs rings around it. Next step is to contact omega.

My AD was not even aware of the 60th Anniv. Speedy until I inquired about one back at the first of May. They placed one on order, which Omega accepted, for me without a requirement of any deposit. However, they have assured me every time I have called 😀 that they/I should receive the watch since Omega accepted the order. I hope the AD is right.

I'd trust your AD, not everyone has got their watches yet, mine arrived yesterday and people on here have only started to get their in the last week or two.

Seriously, we have to have a discussion about the box. It is ridiculously large.

Personally, I would have been happier if they had also 3D scanned and reproduced the small red corduroy-lined box that came with the original CK2915.

What does everyone else think?

I'd have much preferred a small box too, I don't know where this big box trend came from. I'd love to have a small red corduroy-lined box like the original. My 1990 speedy came in this small box. The new one could fit a pair of shoes.

My last 2 Omegas, Speedy and RMLE, came with huge boxes. Considering that there are good bonus stuff inside, I think the size is just right. I'm not complaining. I wish though that Omega can sell those small vintage boxes separately.

Well China, there’s an opportunity (just sayin').

I couldn’t agree more, arcadelt! I’d much rather have the small box similar to the original. I’ll never use the big storage box. Who has room for it? I’ll also never use the supplied leather strap, NATO or spring bar tool as all three are just, not that good.

Hang on to ‘em, of course!
