The OB in Hong Kong (Central) rang today to tell me that my Seamaster had arrived!! Unfortunately, I'll be away for the next couple of days and won't be able to pick it up until Wednesday or Thursday. Very excited, but also a little nervous that the reality won't live up to the hype.

I went to this store today, spoke to the assistant manager who refused to give any sort of discount.

I went to Frazer Hart instead, still no discount but a nicer buying experience, friendlier staff, nicer store etc..

Lovely looking watch, wear in good health. I know the Fraser Hart store there quite well as my son used to live in Kingston, helpful staff even though I never purchased anything from them.
Was yours the only one they had and was it only the Railmaster and Seamaster?
I'm still waiting for a 57 Speedmaster to arrive in Winchester and like to think they are getting closer!!!

 

Cheers mate, it was Frazer Hart in Maidstone Kent I went to as I knew they had one.

They only had that one seamaster, they didn’t get a Speedmaster or railmaster in stock for some reason.

It was so much better service, I was offered a drink,they brought the box out for inspection without me asking.

Had the option, but decided to go for one of each instead.

 

Cool, I think the full set was more expensive than buying the watches individually.

Very nice! I'd put the Speedy on the bracelet, the SM300 on NATO and the RMLE on leather. I could live with those 3 watches and a Patek.

Just wondering, which of the 3 do you like best? How would you rank them?

Surprise of my life.
Railmaster fell from the sky at OB, when I went in to buy a couple link for my Apollo XI about a month ago.
Watch technician says hey got in the first Railmaster today and guy who reserved it - left the country!!
Boom - Done!
Then a week later (3 weeks ago) went to my AD and asked could they get me a Trilogy Speedy?? 99.9% was the answer! Got the call today. And voila
Part 2 of three. Not sure about the Seamaster 300, haven’t seen it but worry about the bezel.
