The last photos are referred to the first one.

Yup, it looks good and the price is fair. Everyone seems to agree.

Obviously, you have to assess the risk factors about dealing with the seller but as far as the watch is concerned it is a pretty good deal in the current market for a dogleg Connie.
However, make sure you are ok with the scratches on the back where some clod has tried to open the watch.

And if you’re worried regarding legitimacy of the seller, why not ask if PayPal goods & services or a sale via eBay/C24 is an option? A few percent more and this’ll still be a fair price, including a security net for you.

The seller is available to use paypal.
The total costs for me comprehensive of import taxes will be about 1300 $.
A similar quality watch is on sale on chrono24 from trusted seller from Germany ( no taxes ) at 1900$.

The case isn’t too bad but you can see that it is just starting to lose its sharp edges.
The dial on the other hand is not so good. I suspect it has had moisture damage and has been cleaned- hence losing some of the minute haches.
not very attractive in my opinion.
The ill-fitting incorrect replacement crown is a bit of an eye-sore.

Is the first watch no longer available? This forum is rarely this unanimous about the advisability of buying a particular watch. The first one you posted looks like a winner and handily beats every subsequent one you've shown us. Get the first one.

And 2) 1650 euro from Germany

A different proposition as it is a 167.005 no-date dogleg, with cal 551 movt
They were produced in fewer numbers and tend to attract a (slight) premium.
Good looking dial but the case is just turning a little soft. (Possibly refinished
?)

I’m not sure what has been going on with the case back - looks like someone has used something abrasive to twist the back off.

Everybody here seems to be scratching their heads 👎 why you're not going for the first watch, and it appears to me that you are somewhat reluctant to buy from a private seller you don't know. And I understand your cautiousness as there are many crooks out there. On the other hand, buying from a dealer won't give you the 100% certainty that you seek, neither. What's 100% certain though is that you'd be paying a premium buying from a dealer.

If you want to buy from a private seller with peace of mind, you'd have to stick around here and check the private sales forum regularly where OF members trade their watches among themselves. The price you pay here is time or patience.

I'd still go for the first one though 😁.

Maybe I didn't explain well. Sorry English isn't my first language.
The first watch is on hold, the seller is on parole on another offer I hope to know something more about his decision in the next hours. meanwhile, I am looking around

Your English is great. I hope you get that watch. If not, be patient and keep checking in with people here. I'm not an expert, but the other members in this thread are.

Probably, but it was on hold already before my first contact with the seller. Anyway I think in this kind of purchase rushing isn't always the best choice and this is particularly true for newbie like me .

In my experience, you need to be patient to find something good. But when you find a good watch you need to jump on it immediately. It can take a long time to find a good vintage watch at a fair price.

I agree whole-heartedly with this - and it comes under the title of ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’, the very definition of a newbie.
unfortunately, it will likely be several blue moons and not just one before the OP sees another watch of the quality of the one first posted at the price asked.
