·Good to know. In the U.S., with the exception of some members of Congress, our sharks stay in the ocean. However, we do have a few of these wandering around outdoors and they can get a little cranky:

Are blue bottle jellyfish poisonous?
The bluebottle uses its tentacles to catch, sting, and kill its prey. The venom it uses is a mix of phenols and proteins that are deadly to their prey, but not to humans. Immediately after you get stung by a bluebottle, you will feel an intense jolt of pain.

And these little buggers are just as bad as the Box jellies...and you can barely see them in the water.
