Some are just cute and fluffy, like baby Fairy Wren chicks. Perched in the grevillia about three metres from our back door.
Hang on there, mate: you gotta watch 'em. Devious creatures, these Wrens. Very good with hacking and covert funds extraction. Very nice picture.
Heat wave? We only call it a heat wave when the temp is over 40°C for more than four days. It's only the wimps in Sydney and Canberra complaining about the heat.
Actually it's one two headed wren, known to land on your nose and peck both eyes out at the same time....... Don't lull them into a false sence of security Jim
Those birdies will kill you...and before they kill you, they'll poop on your car and your watch...you may want to bust out the Raine Inc. "wide boy" protective band for your watch...
Damn! You guys have got me scared now, I didn't realise how dangerous these little buggers can be. I guess I'll have to dig this out and use it for gardening from now on............ Oh! Hang on! I can't, I handed it back in when I left EOD. It didn't include a watch so I couldn't see much sense in "losing" it. (Ex-MIL guys will know what I mean ).
Can just see the thread now............. Wearing my speedmaster inside or outside my B-o-m-b suit. ( got to be careful with that b word nowdays )
So yea, Brisbane has been flooded into a swamp, again... @Trev has just had to empty his office and move all the computers and equipment to higher ground while he uses a shop-vac as a bilge pump and a 5 foot bullshark washed up in flood waters to the North. http://www.news.com.au/technology/s...e/news-story/3d7acdb9ab07257b1f2cd632a110aa3d Come visit us soon European tourists, if you make it home alive you'll have a story to tell.
