As someone who is from the US, some of the coolest things I have seen are wallabies at a beautiful beach in the NW Cape, and an emu running down the street in front of my Jeep that refused to give way. We just don't have cool things like that here around DC.

Some are just cute and fluffy, like baby Fairy Wren chicks.

Perched in the grevillia about three metres from our back door.

🥰

They will find a way to hurt you 😜

New Jersey bluefish. We call the big ones gators with good reason. They are vicious and that mouth is full of razor sharp teeth. We always unhook them with pliers.

Don't know if this has been posted before. An oldie but a goodie 😁

I can not se Kings Cross, Sydney, on that map... At least when I spent time in Australia in the 1980ies that could also kill you. (worked as a bouncer there...)

Still have the photo of you mate….

Known as 'the Golden Mile', King's Cross was infamous for its brothels, organised crime and police corruption.

My first adult full time job was at Kings Cross. For this shy country boy, it sure was an eye opener. No, I wasn't spruiking outside a Strip Joint, more so, Teller, Rural Bank - Kings Cross, which is an oxymoron in its own right.
