Hi I have my seamaster 300 ceramic cased watch with the 8806 movement. The rotor is noisy in comparison to my PO. Someone said it’s because it has ceramic rotor bearings? Is that correct?
Also although there is no click for the date it almost feels like there is and it jumps past it? Anyone else have one of these for comparison? Thanks

The ball bearings are ceramic, not lubricated, and yes are noisier than steel ball bearings are. They will be much more noisy than the plain bearings used in the 8500/8900 also.

The setting lever jumper in the 8806 only has two positions, so there is not third one...
