Hodinkee was for the common bloke, @kyle L was still in high school. # didn't mean hashtag it meant pound. Dennis was funny not angry 馃槈

I lurked in 2012, and even by 2013 this place was just a few dozen nerds talking about Connie鈥檚 80% of the time... the other 20% was complaining about Eisenhower
...think they were onto Kennedy by then
But definitely pre-moon, getting a discussion going on Speedmasters was like Waiting for Godot. Another world altogether.

yeahhh.... I seldom checking here anymore. Somehow after 2015 my hunting appetite declined.
I am happy with whatever in my collection now.

As long as Hoi's friends are stuffing their safe deposit boxes with old Constellations you should be pretty safe, vintage SS Rolex's, especially 70s/80s Daytonas IMO are in a bubble, they're too small to be sports watches, to sporty to be dress watches, and dramatically overpriced for steel watches with Valjoux 72 movements.
