I heard it's because they couldn't the OF Watch Authenticators to agree with each other.

In almost 4 years of membership I never really understood the feature (but at least I know that if I leave my speedmaster next to my computer fan vent overnight it will climb in value 😁 ) 🤦🤦🤦

PS: interface is cleaner ... nice one mods 👍

Damn, that was the main reason I joined OF. Shame, it will be sorely missed by many I expect.

Hopefully the admins are clearing space to start up a new auction system! Given all the complaints about ebay, fees associated with auction houses etc, I'd probably trust my bid with OF over any other venue 👍

I suggested that it be used for auctions with the proceeds going to charitable organizations.

I believe the idea was to alert(?) members of worthy examples being auctioned and perhaps to serve as data points for sold prices? am sure it was another task taking time away from mods
