^ Yes i got that part, and I'm not in the US. I was wondering if there was a difference in wait time.

Seems like it would save a day or two if you order online w Omega vs having to go to an OB to fill out the form and have them submit.

It's a brand new world out there now that they have moved. What used to take many months is now only taking a couple of weeks. Only time will tell if this substantially-reduced turn-around time is the 'new normal'.

Almost two weeks since I had the email that the extract was complete but no sign of that envelope. :(

but there is now the facility to download the PDF of the extract. Have they done away with the red folder?

Same here, I’m actually thinking the written one still will get the signature of Petros, and that’s why it takes some time to get the written one.

Question, has anyone here got the written EoA from the new museum delivered?

One day after I moaned that it hadn't shown up, it arrived. Well sort of...

Gone is the red folder with the wax seal and the signed A4 certificate.

We now get a small greetings card sized certificate. It's quite underwhelming compared to the previous format.

I got my PDF notification in about a week (!!), Still waiting for the mailer, but I'm patient. The PDF was helpful (in verifying I have a mismatched caseback ). WTT post coming!

Looks great to me! What is the advantage to a larger one other?

It just looked a lot more... Dignified? Sorry, but this little (folded in half) doily is kind of a slap in the face...

It's a shame that I can now print a much nicer and more presentable extract at home...
    Thanks a lot Omega...:thumbsdown::whipped:

I agree, it definitely looked much more special. This one looks like one of many sheets you get with a new watch.

Seems to me like the previous version was well worth extra waiting time.

Absolutely. Plus with all of this legal verbiage right at at the top... It seems like Omega is now more concerned about covering their ass (from what exactly? I don't know...) than giving me the info I requested and paid for about my watch...
I mean, can they at least put all of that legal mambo jumbo on the bottom portion rather than right on top?? ::facepalm2::

Only if it had the correct information on it. Mine has the wrong movement listed. And yes, the movement, case, and original documentation all have the same serial number listed.

Has anyone ordered an extract from an OB since the reopening? Did you get it yet?

I ordered mine over the phone with an employee I’m friendly with in Chicago exactly a month ago and nothing yet. I called a few days ago and he said he's still waiting on not only mine but one of his own .

I’m just wondering if maybe he placed the order incorrectly.

Received the extract today. I call it the dwarf extract. I needed to put my glasses on... Not the nice red envelop with the seal. It was just folded like the birthday card I receive every year from my (weird) niece. Well. That's life. Disappointment...

That's kind of a let down. Oh well, I will still follow through with doing it on my Speedmaster.

While I don't particularly like the new look of the extracts, I guess there is an advantage to the new system 'cause 2998 extracts be flying in! :D
