Shipped from China yesterday and just arrived today in New Mexico (apparently not fυcking around on their end)...

running perfectly and with the agreed upon customizations (custom olive green bezel + a lollipop second's hand added in lieu of the OEM second's hand).

Old parts returned -- and a new strap & new bracelet plus the Chronomaster Only book as gifts for my patience... the initial thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/customer-service-means-something.155093/

I like the customizations on this, especially the green bezel. Are these designed in Switzerland, but made in China?

As I understand it... both: designed in Switzerland and assembled in Switzerland from Swiss & Chinese parts, and service repairs are done 100% in China.

Did they tell you what was wrong with the movement?

Shoot, I did not know they provided customizations. That’s really awesome that they did this for you and sent the original pieces back. Also really awesome they sent you that book! The customer service was off to a rocky start but they more than made up for it in the end! Your watch looks fun too 👍

Yes, but it was through their watchmaker in China then onto a French/English speaking customer service rep...
"The issue seems to be one whereby the pusher for beginning and ending the chrono has broken off an interior mechanism in the movement. It was determined this was a flaw from manufacturing of the movement and neither us at Nivada or you the owner are of blame."

Okeee then.

When I put forth the idea to them I got a little nervous about the green bezel and lollipop getting a little too close to Christmas Yuletide vibez but once we took the green to more of an olive I got less worried... in hand today it works quite nicely I believe. Definitely pleased.

Nice! I really like the mods. The only downside to the crazy fast shipping is we don’t get to follow your tracking updates. 😁

That looks good. Lovely shade of green bezel. I’m in the middle of asking Omega to customize my Trilogy Speedy bezel to that same shade of green.

Just received their respond today.

Imma assume someone at Omega will call me back at 12:00 to discuss options.

The mods make it very appealing to me, but the service situation scares me back off.

Had enough time to toss some new shoes on 'er before heading out to the orthopod to have my fuckered shoulder examined.

Once there had some Me Time between the doc shooting slides of my shoulder and the follow-up so I did a lil' photo op with a healthy shoulder-

Doc walked in on that and began laughing. I told him watch photos with models of healthy body parts is a trending thing that nets chicks and Likes. He seemed confused but still managed a smile.

Upside: love the watch.
Downside: three tears in my rotator cuff, a copious quantity of arthritis, a badly winging scapula and a bone spur which is causing a serious amount of "FUUUUCCCK" in the form of an impingement when I lift my arm.

Next up - physical therapy.
