Hi all, and Happy New Year 😀
I hereby put up for sale my Croton Nivada Grenchen Chronograph, the early execution of Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver CASD. It supposedly dates from 1961.

This example is in nice conditions imho, as far as I know everything is original to the watch but crystal, while original unsigned crown could be from an immediately later reference of the same model.

It was completely serviced in june 2021 by my trusty watchmaker, although I don't have a receipt.

The dial is correctly bearing the name "chronograph" whereas the next generations were printed "chronomaster".

Please note that this particular variation of the model is covered in the book “Chronomaster Only” on page 174, aligned NS and high (or floating) swiss.

Stainless steel case measures 38.5 x 45mm excluded crown and appears to be unpolished, with sharp edges and light signs of wear here and there. Screw down caseback correctly bearing reference 105. Lug width 20mm.

Original black matte dial is very well preserved, with a warm and nice creamy patina on indexes. Correctly rotating bezel has slight green reflection and it’s in good shape.

Manual winding movement Venus 210 is doubly signed and keeps time nicely after the service. Original broad arrow handset.

Watch comes on a generic good quality dark brown leather band almost new.

Please ask me for any doubt about the watch. I will reply as fast as possible: via mp here, email [email protected] or whatsapp +393473071828

Watch and me are located in Rome, Italy. I'm asking 2500 euros shipped with tracking code and ensured with Secursus everywhere within EU. Overseas transactions are welcome with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Bank wire preferred, F&F paypal possible. Face to face in Rome obviously possible.

I have some good feedbacks so far on OF at the following link, but plenty of references from other international fora and ebay to provide if needed:

Before letting pics do the talking, thanks a lot OF for the opportunity and thanks you all for looking.
