Congrats !
I believe the crown is a later replacement but that's no big deal IMO. Love the CASD. Enjoy yours and share your pics when you get it !

So as a final post to this thread, I signed for the watch this morning and it is gorgeous. The listing described this as not running and that is true so this is next in line to head to my watch maker.

Here is a seller image for comparison. There was a bit of a gamble for dial condition/texture but after closely observing the varying angles shown in the listing and seeing the white spots move in each listing image, I was confident it was just dust. Still, the texture looked rough.

Straight out of the box- Just as the listing image showed. I could immediately see that the dial was stunning and I was right and glad I took my chance. It is all just dust on the inside of the crystal.

Direct sun light

Case is dirty but real sharp/honest. I suspect crown is not original to the watch and for a later reference, but I like the shape of it and how it looks.

Removed from the case

And cleaned on the inside of the crystal and buffed out the light surface scratches with PolyWatch

Thank for all the help, private messages, and leads. I am excited for this WTB to be closed and can't wait to start wearing this one.

Congrats, stunning example, especially the dial! Do you have a Geiger? There is still the rumor the hands / dials are Radium at this execution. Would be great to verify this (the one I had was relumed 馃檨 )

I do not have a Geiger counter or UV pen but I am under the impression this is the original lume and as you said, given the date of this, I would believe it is radium. There is no visible reaction from direct sunlight. I will have my watch maker verify this and report back, but that may be a bit of time.

Congratulations! Always a nice feeling to finally find what you have been searching for!

if you need any parts, they are difficult to come by but there is a guy on EBay that has lots of NOS bits.

I needed a chrono counter and main chrono hand for mine.
